Short Information

  • Transnational European and East Asian Studies (TEACH) is a master's degree that is offered jointly by the University of Bonn, the Korea University in Seoul and the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Students who are enrolled at one of these universities can participate. Graduates receive two master's degrees: one from their home universities and a second from one of the two partner universities.
  • The number of students is limited to five per university. They are selected in a special application process that is carried out jointly by the three universities.
  • All students start their studies at their home university and spend a semester together in Germany, Japan and Korea.
  • The Bonn students receive funding from the DAAD for their stays abroad if the DAAD supports TEACH.
